West Career Academy is located on the West High School Campus and is one of DPS' top public multiple pathways schools. If you are 17-20 years old and more than 100 credits away from graduation, then WCA is the school for you.
At our West High Campus, students are able to learn cutting-edge skills with rigorous academics to meet the real world with industry-leading internships, service learning and community engagement opportunities, all in the heart of downtown Denver.
Whether you're a high school student behind on credits, a student exploring your college or career options, or a transfer student seeking new challenges, you can find success through our diverse academic options and premier city network of business and community organizations.
Students enrolled in our program are also eligible to participate in any high school athletics with West High School. In order to participate you must:
maintain academic eligibility
meet satisfactory attendance standards of 80%
meet all CHSAA age and eligibility requirements
WCA Admission Process:A meeting with Principal Jessica Newman or School Counselor Jennifer Fenton is required for admission to WCA. To schedule a meeting, please call 720-423-5390. Please bring the following paperwork to the meeting:
Parent or legal guardian must be present at the meeting
