Courtney is a 2009 graduate of Kent State University in Ohio where she studied Speech Pathology and Audiology. She loves Ohio dearly and will talk your ear off about the Midwest if you let her. Courtney moved to Denver in 2010 to begin her Masters degree in International Human Rights at the University of Denver. During her time in grad school, Courtney lived abroad in Masaka, Uganda working with a local organization that focused on providing education opportunities for orphans. This work inspired Courtney to pursue teaching in the US so she joined Teach for America in 2013. This is Courtney’s first year on staff at WCA where she teaches Social Studies and loves it!
When she is not gracing the halls of WCA, Courtney enjoys hanging out with her cat named Goose and reading. She is also known to enjoy a good nap when she has the time! Courtney Donohoe Social Studies Teacher West Career Academy 951 Elati St. Denver, CO 80204 Work # 720-423-5390 |
