I was born in Chihuahua Mexico. Arrived in the US at 4 years old to the city of Denver, Colorado. I attended Valdez Elementary in DPS from kindergarten to 2nd grade. Moved to Lakewood, Colorado at the age of 7 searching for more opportunities.
As a Junior in High School I was offered the opportunity to teach Middle School students a dance/ step routine, that was when I found I enjoyed working with kids. After graduating from Jefferson High school, another opportunity arose for me to coach at Wheat Ridge Middle School. I jumped at the opportunity to get involved and be a part of educating students in the art of playing Tennis. The years went by and I continued working with kids as an After School Instructor and Para Professional, later on became the Clinic Aide and Attendance/ Enrollment Secretary. As well as, a Camp Counselor during the Summer. Being part of kids’ lives, and being someone who makes a difference in their outlook on life and school has been one of my biggest blessings. I am happy every day to come work at West Career Academy and see the big impact, this staff has on each and every student. We are more than a school here, we are a family. On my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going horseback riding and appreciating all the beautiful landscapes throughout the state.
